About Us

InspectionReady Home helps homeowners get through the inspections their home insurer asks for: the 4-point inspection, the wind mitigation inspection and the roof inspection. We explain what inspectors look at, what the forms mean and what you can do before the visit, in plain English and with a link to every official source.

Why this site exists

In Florida and in other states with older housing, many insurers now ask for an inspection before they will write or renew a policy. The rules sit in regulator bulletins, inspection forms and insurer guidelines that most homeowners never see. When a policy depends on the answer to one line of a form, a vague summary is not enough.

So we build two things. Guides that go line by line through the forms and rules, and free tools that turn them into a checklist, a calculation or a reminder you can actually use.

Who runs it

The site is written and edited by Daniel Aznar. He is not a home inspector or a licensed insurance agent, and no guide pretends otherwise. Our guides are not reviewed by a licensed inspector. Their reliability comes from primary sources, visible dates and a public corrections log, all described on our How We Verify page.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell insurance, give quotes or pass your details to insurers or agents.
  • We do not recommend specific insurance companies.
  • We do not promise discounts or name discount amounts. Each insurer sets its own.
  • We are not affiliated with any insurer, with Citizens Property Insurance, with any state insurance department or with any government agency.

How the site is funded

The site is funded by display advertising, such as Google AdSense. Ads appear below our quick answers and below the tools, never inside them. Advertisers do not choose, review or pay for any content, and there are no sponsored articles.
